Liquid Treatment

Our liquid treatment results in better pavement conditions, less chemical usage, longer application results, and lower costs. There are two treatment types – proactive and reactive:

Proactive – Spreading materials before or during the early stage of the storm – prevents frost formation and snow and ice from bonding to the road

Reactive – Spreading material after storm starts and snow accumulates – allows bonding of snow and ice to road surface causing use of more salt and more time to break the bond and achieve melting

Our process is built on being proactive, efficient and professional. Safety is our focus.

Site Analysis

Every site is surveyed before the snow season to determine areas that may need additional attention to maintain a safe environment. As an example, identifying freeze zones that are created by the shadows casted from buildings.

Architerra proactively monitors these areas before, during and after a storm event. By doing so, parking spaces will be maximized.

Communication

Clients are always informed before a storm event. Typical communication involves detailed emails with weather reports and a “Plan of Attack.”

Clear Entrances

We use pre-treatments to reduce threshold wear and prevent messy salt being tracked into the building. Additionally, this technique doesn’t bounce or blow off, which minimizes the environmental impact and creates less cleanup for janitorial staff.

Snow Relocation

Architerra will keep your site safe and clear during back to back storm events. We have the equipment and personnel “in-house” to relocate large piles of snow in preparation for another storm event. All of Architerra’s heavy equipment operators have a minimum of 10 years of operating experience.
